Today is the last day for Chick-fil-A patrons in Gainesville to get their chicken sandwich fix until June 17.
The popular chicken eatery’s relocation from Pearl Nix Parkway to Dawsonville Highway will include a 10-day closure.
With a more spacious design and a double drive-thru for the June 17 reopening, Chick-fil-A Gainesville marketing director Emmy Dale said it will be worth the wait.
“It’s going to be an even greater experience than they’ve had in the past,” Dale said Wednesday. “We’ll be serving all the Chick-fil-A favorites. We’ll be ready to serve them on the 17th.”
The final day at the 400 Pearl Nix Parkway location, which opened Sept. 19, 1996, is today, with normal hours. Its doors close for the final time at 10 p.m.
